Guidance - sheet 9 (quality & finish)
On this sheet you need to consider how to make your product high quality and have a good finish.
To make sure your product is high quality, can you suggest alternative ways to:

  •  make fragile parts stronger
  • join parts together to make sure the complete product is strong (e.g. using PVA wood glue; epoxy resin; screws; nuts & bolts)

Vertical Divider
To make sure your product has a good finish, can you suggest alternative ways to:

  • make sure surfaces are smooth (unless you want a different texture) using glass paper
  • use paint (undercoat; paint brushes; spray cans)
  • use varnish (matt; gloss)
  • use wood stain (different colours)
