Boomerang

​In this activity you will be designing and making a boomerang.

Resources  
  • 2D Design software
  • Laser cutter
  • A4 sheet of 3mm plywood or MDF

Method
  1. Begin by opening the 2D Design software​.  
  2. Follow the video, completing each step yourself.  (Use ALT + TAB keys to switch between the video and 2D Design).
  3. Use the laser cutter to make the boomerang.  (Ask for help from your teacher).
  4. Use glass paper to create the 'wing profile'.  (Ask your teacher to show you how - see below to find out more about a wing shape).
